Cracovian Compensation Forum - the biggest Polish conference dedicated to the matter of salaries.
IV edition of the conference took place on 21-22 May 2009. Our content-related partner was The Chair of Human Capital Management at the Cracow University of Economics.
The main idea of the event was compensating during economic crisis. Many prominent Compensation and Benefits professionals shared their experience with participants in the area of constructing effective salary systems. Very interesting was also the part, in which representatives of such companies, as: Coca Cola, Żywiec Group and Ball Packaging Europe presented their companies’ compensation strategies and solutions. Furthermore, a separate session devoted to job evaluation took place. It was conducted by Hay Group and Hewitt Associates consultants. A lot of attention was also paid to bonuses as well as to improving salary systems. Experiences and opinions relating to these matters were presented by managers from Kompania Piwowarska, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Grupa LOTOS.
